Slow Travelers in the Bologna Apennines
June 19th - 20th 2010

On June 19th and 20th 2010 AppenninoSlow organizes the second edition of AdAgio.  Like last year, Adagio proposing itself as itinerant event with the opportunity to choose the way in which slow travel participate.
New of this year: we will hike on 20th with Gianfranco Bracci who is treading the path of Iron (the Island of Elba Spina - Comacchio) on the ancient street that Etruscans used to market their products.
Also on this occasion we chose as a testimonial event Riccardo Carnovalini (one of the great walkers of Italy) who will walk with us and on Saturday night June 19th we will entertain by telling of his extraordinary journey with films and slides.

Anyone who wants to participate for two days can take advantage of the night with half board accommodation in selected structures in the area. Who wants, can walk only on Sundays.
On Sunday we organized a bike tour with dedicated paths.

This experience of slow travel approaches to philosophy, to discover the values that are too often forgotten, or even lost. Along paths crossed by the Etruscans and Romans who are still full of charm over yet unspoilt environments in the lush greenery of our Apennines. The trip is no more transfer from one place to another, but it becomes a lifestyle experience and more so if carried out alongside a great character who has many stories to tell. And what is more important is not so much the goal, as the road that runs along to it.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT

FIRST DAY - Saturday, June 19, 2010
At 8:30 arrival in St. Agata with his own means and meeting of the group of the trek. Baggage reclaim. Departure for the trekk. Picnic Lunch (not provided). In the afternoon arrival in Firenzuola and accommodation. 
In the Evening Riccardo Carnovalini will tell us of his recent trips to walk along Italy.
Leads the evening Gianfranco Bracci.

SECOND DAY - Sunday, June 20, 2010
Transfer by his own means to Passo della Futa and 8.30 am departure for the trekk. Meeting with Gianfranco Bracci and his staff who are walking "The Way of Iron". Riccardo Carnovalini will walk with us. 
At 4 pm arrival in Alpe Monghidoro. Lunch and final party.
In the afternoon possibility to enter to the Stunt Park "Triton's Park" with a discounted price.
Return to the shuttle to the Futa. End of our services.

Price for 2 days: 87€ per person in double room
Single room supplement 18€
The price includes: 1 overnight stay, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, luggage transfer, transfer to the shuttle where necessary, the insurance
